kakalistiq.com reports that the total number of classrooms facilitated by Rep. Wale Raji has now reached an impressive 160, as he proudly announced during the commissioning and handover of new classrooms – a block of six classrooms in Igbooye and two blocks of three classrooms in Ilara, Eredo LCDA.
Speaking at the well-attended event, which drew dignitaries from various sectors yesterday, 7th February 2025, Rep. Raji expressed his excitement about the positive feedback from constituents, which guided his interventions in the education sector.
“No child should be left behind in their pursuit of knowledge, nor should any child endure physical stress to access education,” Raji stated. “This is why these interventions are crucial. Moreover, we must begin immortalizing well-meaning individuals in the constituency for the benefit of current and future generations.”
During a press interview, the lawmaker acknowledged the unwavering support of his people and assured them of more developmental projects in the coming year.
“I deeply appreciate the people, and what we have done today is just a demonstration of our commitment to serving them and representing their best interests. In the area of education, we are ensuring that no child in Epe Federal Constituency is left behind in gaining quality education,” he affirmed.
He further assured constituents that more projects in education, commerce, road infrastructure, and human capital development are in the pipeline.
“As your representative in the National Assembly, I will always prioritize impactful parliamentary intervention projects (PIPs) that enhance the education standard in our constituency. Over the years, we have successfully constructed 160 well-ventilated, burglary-proof classrooms, each furnished with modern metal-framed furniture for students, teacher’s desks, white marker boards, and, in some instances, restrooms,” Raji elaborated. “I must emphasize that this underscores our commitment to ensuring that no child suffers to access education and that parents are not financially overburdened due to inadequate school infrastructure.”
He went on to recognize the collaborative efforts that made these developments possible.
“The progress we celebrate today is the result of unwavering support from key stakeholders. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Federal House of Representatives led by my astute Speaker, Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbass, the Lagos State Government, and the leadership of Eredo LCDA for their dedication to educational advancement. Additionally, I acknowledge the role of traditional rulers, political leaders, and community members whose feedback has helped shape the development landscape of our constituency.”
As he looks to the future, Rep. Raji called on stakeholders and well-meaning individuals to contribute to the community’s growth. He concluded with a call for unity and a shared vision.
