During the week, the Council Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, graced the launch of weekend tutorials for social sciences and arts students from public secondary schools in Ibeju Lekki, highlighting the success of the partnership with Pan Atlantic University (PAU).

Accompanied by the entire cabinet, Hon. Olowa praised PAU for propelling students into prominence through the platform, commending the efforts of the Community Service Project club for organizing the inaugural Quiz-A-Thon. Notable winners emerged from Ibeju Senior High School and Iwerekun Community Secondary School.

Honouring the occasion, PAU’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Enase Okonedo, emphasized the pivotal role parents play in moral education, encouraging students to embrace challenges in an ever-evolving world of information technology.

Mr. Frank Wiggle, the PRO of PAU, reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to elevating students’ lives and academic success, showcasing their dedication to giving back to society.

The solid partnership, ongoing for over a year, has expanded to include art and social sciences students, marking a significant milestone in shaping the educational landscape of Ibeju-Lekki.

Recognizing academic prowess, outstanding students Taiwo Olamide, Ogunsanya Kazeem, Afolabi Boluwatife, Joy Samuel, and Egbononu Augusta were awarded for their stellar performances in the JAMB maiden Quiz-A-Thon competition.

This partnership exemplifies a dedication to transforming education in Ibeju-Lekki, offering promising prospects for students amidst the region’s burgeoning industrialization.
