Breaking: Epe Federal Lawmaker, Wale Raji Becomes House of Reps Welfare Committee Chairman.

Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Tajudeen Abass, has appointed Epe Federal Lawmaker, Rep. Wale Raji as the Chairman of the Welfare Committee.

The House of Reps Speaker, it was reported, constituted the seven special committees for the coordination of legislative activities.

The speaker announced the constitution of the special committees on Thursday in Abuja.

Rep. Wale Raji (APC-Lagos) heads the Welfare Committee, while Ethics and Privileges Committee would be led by Rep. Tunji Olawuyi (APC-Kwara).

Internal Security Committee would be led by Rep. Mohammed Danjuma; Selection Committee, chaired by the House of Reps. speaker and Media Committee is to be headed by Rep. Buka Ibrahim (APC-Yobe).

Other members are Legislative Agenda Committee, which would be chaired by Prof Julius Ihonbvare (APC-Edo), and the Rules and Business Committee, to be led by Rep. Igariwey Iduma (PDP-Ebonyi)
