Dr. Mary Adedoyin Highlights Path to Bright Future at Epe Grammar School Event.

Tagged “Building a Bright Future: The Role of Education, Innovation, and Digital Skills” the Sub-Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Lagos State University, Epe Campus, who previously served as a PTA teacher at Epe Grammar School, captivated the students with her insights on achieving global excellence.

In her lecture, Dr. Adedoyin inspired the students by emphasizing the keys to unlocking their bright future. She highlighted the importance of education as the foundation for both personal and societal development, stating that innovations play a crucial role in addressing challenges and creating solutions.

She encouraged the students to think creatively and develop innovations that could positively impact society by challenging the status quo and offering efficient, viable solutions. Highlighting the critical importance of digital skills, Dr. Adedoyin advised the students to engage in productive activities such as graphic design, multimedia production, and video editing, rather than wasting time on social media. “Digital skills are crucial for your growth and development. Use your time wisely to build these competencies,” she said.

Dr. Adedoyin outlined several strategies to build a brighter future, including setting personal goals through personal development plans and ensuring that their growth aligns with their age. “Set personal goals through your personal development plans and ensure your growth aligns with your age,” she advised.

“Time management is key to staying organized and productive.” She highlighted other key factors such as self-assessment, goal setting, vision, maintaining a growth mindset, achieving good academic results, diligence, and discipline.

Sharing her stellar academic career, Dr. Adedoyin motivated the students by illustrating how education can positively impact society. She urged them to become pioneers of change, community leaders, and innovators who drive progress.
