“We are immensely grateful to Governor Sanwo-Olu, the Deputy Governor, Dr Kadri Hamzat, and Dr. Hakkem Shittu for recognizing our community’s needs and making this long-overdue project a reality. This initiative is a monumental step towards enhancing the educational landscape of Ito-Ikin,” said Hon. Anomo.

He assured that his administration would provide all necessary support to ensure the project’s success within the stipulated timeframe. Additionally, Hon. Anomo urged community members to protect the project, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding government efforts to improve their quality of life.

Ito-Ikin Community, known for its vibrant commercial activities and welcoming residents, has long faced challenges due to the absence of a secondary school. Despite having one of the highest primary school enrollments in the area, students have had to travel to neighbouring communities for their secondary education. This new development will soon change that scenario.

The new building will be a one-story structure with 12 classrooms, significantly enhancing educational and vocational opportunities for the children of Ito-Ikin Community, marking a new chapter in the community’s educational journey.
