Ibeju-Lekki Council Dismisses Alleged Kidnappers Den Rumors as False.

Following circulating rumors of a purported kidnapping syndicate cell in Igando-Oloja, kakalistiq.com reports that Ibeju-Lekki Local Government has vehemently refuted these claims. The alleged misinformation, initially shared on social media by an unidentified individual on February 13th, 2024, has been clarified by the local authorities.

According to official statements from the Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, the reported kidnapping syndicate cell is entirely false. Instead, authorities confirmed the discovery of illegal immigrants in a localized area within the council’s jurisdiction. Swift action was taken as these individuals were promptly apprehended and handed over to security agencies for thorough assessment and appropriate interventions.

Further investigations into the matter revealed that the suspects have been relocated from Elemoro Police Station, where they were initially detained, to the Police Headquarters in Alagbon for comprehensive scrutiny.
