Ibeju-Lekki LG Chairman, Sesan Olowa, Receives Nigeria’s Best Digital Local Government Chairman Award

In a grand ceremony hosted by the Bureau of Government Public Service Reforms and Crystal Edge Limited at the National Conference Centre, Abuja, on October 13, 2023, kakalistiq.com reports that Hon. (Engr.) Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, the enterprising Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, was bestowed with the esteemed “Digital Local Government Chairman of the Year in Nigeria” award.

The event, graced by distinguished personalities, including state governors like His Excellency Babagana Zulum of Borno State and Chukuma Soludo of Anambra State, recognized Chairman Olowa’s exceptional contributions to the digital transformation of his local government.

The Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR) is a governmental agency with a mission to enhance Nigeria’s public service by fostering excellence, professionalism, customer-centricity, and results-driven approaches. BPSR has been at the forefront of championing a corruption-free public service and facilitating efficient service delivery.

The award, presented to Chairman Olowa in absentia and received by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Issa Moruf, was also attended by Hon. Bisola Azeez, the Supervisor for Women’s Affairs, and Mr. Lolade Ogunkoya, Head of the ICT Unit of the Council. It recognizes Chairman Olowa’s exemplary leadership in propelling digital innovation and governance in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, showcasing his unwavering commitment to progress and excellence.
