Epe Indigenes in Lagos State Public Service Join Forces for Spectacular Maiden Ileya Get-together

In a remarkable show of camaraderie and celebration, the Epe Indigenes Forum of Lagos State Public Service has announced the take-off of its inaugural Ileya Fiesta/Get-together.

This groundbreaking event aims to foster unity, interaction, and the pursuit of common goals among Epe natives employed within the Lagos State Public Service.

With the primary objective of establishing a collective front to advance careers and address issues affecting all Epe indigenes in the public sector, Kakalistiq media reports that the forum has decided to mark the festive season with this grand occasion, which promises to be an unforgettable experience for all attendees.

According to the Coordinator of the Forum, Mr. Adetomiwa Ogunnwa Akodu, the Ileya Fiesta is scheduled to take place on Thursday, 29th June 2023, coinciding with the second day of Ileya, at the prestigious Salako Mini Hall, located beside the Epe Recreation Centre.

To guarantee a flawlessly executed event, Mr. Akodu revealed that several subcommittees have been established, each assigned to oversee different aspects of the Fiesta’s organization. Their collective efforts, he said, will ensure the seamless coordination of various segments, guaranteeing a vibrant and captivating experience for all participants.

He added that distinguished administrators from the Epe division, including Permanent Secretaries of Ministries, Chief Executive Officers/General Managers, and Managing Directors of various Departments and Agencies of Epe descent have been invited to grace the occasion.

Kakalistiq media reports that a thought-provoking lecture will be delivered by Mr. Falal Adeleke Ligali, a Deputy Director in the Office of the Head of Service, renowned as the son of the late music icon Alhaji Ligali-Mukaiba.

Taking on the role of Chairman of the occasion will be an esteemed thorough-bred professional, Mr. Abiodun Onayele, Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment. His presence and participation further highlight the significance and support garnered by the Fiesta, elevating it to an event of great importance.
